Check out Vow To Be Chic, a hip Santa-Monica-based company that rents designer bridesmaid dresses and Little White Dresses that are perfect for engagement photos, bridal showers, and rehearsal dinners. Designers that they carry are among some of the most popular and noted in bridal fashion, including but not limited to Nicole Miller, Jenny Yoo, Monique Lhuillier, and Tadashi Shoji.
Vow To Be Chic has just recently launched a fabulous new feature called the Bridal Suite. This tool allows the bridal party to collectively select, and vote, on their favorite dresses from a specially curated designer selection. The bride and bridesmaids can register via vowtobechic.com. None of your bridesmaids need to travel long distances for multiple fittings - you don’t even all have to be logged onto the site at the same time. The website retains all of the information you will need to make final selections on your dresses: preferences, favorites, notes, measurements, etc. The Bridal Suite then sends each bridesmaid notifications of her dress assignment or reminders when she needs to order a dress. Along with this streamlined communication tool, Vow To Be Chic also has expert Bridal Stylists available to offer personalized (and free) advice on the perfect dress choices. Each bridal party has its own dedicated stylist to help them through the entire rental and selection process.
Once potential dresses have been selected, a bridesmaid can try on dresses in her own home. The company sends dresses in two different sizes. The bridesmaid can then pick the best fit, return the dresses, and receive the perfect fit one week prior to the wedding date. All shipping costs are included in the the try-on-at-home service.
When the wedding is over, your bridesmaids can return their dress using the prepaid shipping label, and Vow To Be Chic takes care of the dry cleaning. How simple!
This place is probably my favorite place to organize an event; large enough to fit a good amount of guests and small enough that you really feel like you're having an intimate event. I would suggest this wedding location venue for anyone.
